The Offer
After the selection process, successful applicants will be required to supply a fully mixed and mastered audio master (not an MP3) along with a short bio including all contact information as well as a promotional photograph.
Each artist chosen will be required to pay a distribution fee to be included on the Shout! Australian Music Sampler. Artists who require a professional production facility to mix, re-record or master their track can take advantage of exclusive Shout! rates at Salt Studios.
Successful artists will also receive 10 free copies of the Shout! Australian Music Sampler for promotional use.
The sampler will be distributed to key music industry personnel both here in Australia and overseas. We will service Triple J radio, community radio stations 3RRR, 3PBS, FBI Radio, SYN-FM and 4ZZZ as well as influential music journalists, music magazines, major and independent record labels, publishers and booking agents.
Volume 2 of the Shout! Australian Music Sampler will be launched officially at Musexpo 2008 in London in October and will be included in the official conference show bag.
Salt Studios have kindly donated two full days of studio time for the best track on Volume 3 of the Shout! Australian Music Sampler as voted by the Musexpo team.
